ORGANISATION REVIEW

 

Managers of voluntary groups often have wide ranging duties and tremendous demands on their time.  It is not always possible to take the time out to review the effectiveness and quality of the organisation.

 

BEST therefore undertakes reviews of projects / services, or financial policies and procedures, providing a full report with recommendations.

 

Methodology is agreed with the organisation but will usually include a paper review of policies, procedures and other documentation, interviews with key staff / volunteers (including trustees) and scrutiny of systems and premises as appropriate.  Some organisations also include discussion with stakeholders - such as funding providers and referral agents.
